About The Cole And Osby Family
William "Bill" Cole was born in 1840 (William "Bill" Cole date of death is unknown).Born a slave  in North Carolina to Calvin Cole and Mattie Cole,He came to Kemper County, MS with his parents and  slave owners circa 1852. He married Bernettie "Nettie" Houston Cole, daughter of Stevenson "Steven"  Houston and Mary Houston, and they had six children, four daughters and two sons.

William "Bill" Cole was the Husband of Bernettie "Nettie" Houston Cole; the Father of Sallie Cole  Rush, Lady Pearl Cole, Willie Lee "Bud" Cole, Willie Cole Cole, Anna Cole, and Henry Cole; the Son  of Calvin Cole and Mattie Cole; and the Brother of Mary Cole, John Cole, James Cole, Maggie Cole,  Mollie Cole, Frances Cole, and Lydia Cole.Sallie Cole Rush Birth Dec. 1877 Death unknown.

Sallie Cole Rush Wife of Lee Rush, Mother of Bill Osby and Aaron Osby. Leland "Lee" Rush. Julia B.  Rush-Windham,Lannie Rush-Campbell. Mabel Rush Horne. and Percy Rush. Daughter of William "Bill" Cole  and Bernettie "Netttie" Houston Cole,Sister of Willie Cole Cole,Lady Pearl Cole, Anna Cole. Henry  Cole,and Willie "Bud" Cole; Paternal Granddaughter of Calvin Cole and Mattie Cole; and Maternal  Granddaughter of Stevenson "Steven" Houston and Mary Houston.

Bill Osby and, Aaron Osby the Sons of Sallie Cole Rush and the Stepson of Lee Rush.Bill Osby Date of  Birth and Date of Death unknown. Aaron Osby Born Mar. 17,1893 in Kemper County Dekalb, MS Died Jun.19, 1965  Aaron Osby the Father of Grady B Osby who was born Dec 17 1920 in Kemper County and died Mar 15 1973 in Neshoba  County.Grady B Osby married Mattie Lee Adams-Osby the Daughter of Tom Adams and Annie Morton ABT May  17 1936 in Kemper County. She was born Jul 19, 1919 in Kemper County and died May 13, 1993 in  Lauderdale County. Ten Children were born. 
 She was preceded in death by two daughters, Odessa and Priscilla Ann Osby and four sisters and five  brothers. She is survived by two daughters: Mary Lean Osby and Barbara JO Adams-Brooks Six sons  Ozell Osby Rev. James Osby Willie B Osby Johnny Earl Osby Algene Osby and Rev.Jimmy Clyde Osby.

Odessa Osby was born Dec 19 1937 in Kemper County and died Apr 10 1955 in Neshoba County. Priscilla Ann Osby was born August in Philadelphia, MS Neshoba County 1954 And died January 1991 in Riley Hospital Meridian, MS Lauderdale County.

The Descendant Chart shows the person you have selected in the left, with the photograph and parents below. On the right are the children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
